Our new student rabbi, Rob Friedman, will be with us for the first time when he comes to lead the services for Rosh Hashanah.

 

Here is the schedule for services on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

Erev Rosh Hashanah--Sunday, September 13, 7:30 p.m.

Rosh Hashanah--Monday September 14,10:00 a.m. Services last until a little after noon and are followed by a Tashlich service (the traditional casting away of sins into the water) and then a communal pot luck lunch at the home of Mark and Frankie Weil.  Their address is 2030 Fairway Drive next to the Barbara Worth Country Club.

 

Kol Nidre--Tuesday, September 22 at 7:30 p.m.

Yom Kippur--Wednesday, September 23 at 10:00 a.m.  The morning service will conclude sometime after noon and we we take a break.  We will resume at 5:45 p.m. with the Yiskor service followed by the concluding service. After the blowing of the shofar, the rabbi will bless the children and then we will have a communal break the fast. Please bring a non-meat dish or salad, drinks or dessert.

 

The rabbi's next visit after the high holidays will be on the weekend of October 2-3 and shabbat school for the children will begin then.
